Note: the prices of the Minecraft go up and down. Check out this list of awesome Minecraft books —all librarian, parent, and kid approved! Check out this super easy and cheap! DIY Creeper bag:. Important to print in landscape setting. Mine printed in 10 sheets, not 3. Sorry about that. I noticed some copy shop employees are great, some have no clue.
This is very true. FYI to future users. Love this — Printed fine on UK A4 paper. I only did a regular paper copy and stock it to cardboard for an emergency dress up costume. It is brilliant — thanks so much.
This saves my day! Thank you for making these images available. I cut-n-pasted the image to Excel spreadsheet, which lets me print the images across multiple pages. I just glued them together. Anyway, thank you for sharing your creativity! My son will be thrilled!
Thank you so much. Oh thank you sooo much for these…. I just finished making these super easy projects for my 9 year old! They came out great! We ended up doubling the thickness since we had extra foam board.
But how do you either seal the edges or smooth them out? Thanks again!! I colored the edges with black sharpie then used hot glue to take care of the edges and it gives it extra strength. If kids use them for show or costumes, they last a while, but if they are actually sword-fighting with them—not so long. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. Hi, your instructions only make one side of the sword or pickaxe right?
Thank you so much! Thank you so much for this incredible post. Totally insane! They are going to be really excited. Everything is very open with a reallly clear clarification of the issues. It was definitely informative. Your website is vewry useful. Many thanks for sharing! Thanks a million for the templates for the diamond sword!! Yours is perfect! It is an iconic part of the game and is one of the first weapons crafted when players start a new world. It is also the strongest weapon to have in battle.
The damage done by the sword is more immense than a pickaxe or bow and arrow. To give a sword, or any tool or weapon, more durability and the ability to work better, Minecraft players can use enchantments on them. Enchantments are done through an enchanting table or by typing commands when playing the PC version of Minecraft.
There are 10 enchantments Minecraft players can use their swords to level up, make them last longer, or get more bang for their buck when it comes to battles. To attach an enchantment to a sword, players will need enchanting tables. These are made from one book, two diamonds, and four obsidian blocks. Enchanting tables use XP to level up the enchantments, but surrounding the table with books can help level up the table itself.
Enchantments can be put on any sword, including wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond. Leveling up all of these can make them stronger, but the higher the sword, with wood being the lowest and diamond being the highest, the stronger the enchantment.
To level up enchantments for those that accept it, players must keep leveling up the same sword - or weapon - repeatedly until they reach the highest level. This is also done with the enchanting table. This Minecraft enchantment goes to level five and increases the attack on arthropods, spiders, and silverfish. The Bane of Arthropods enchantment can help kill these mobs within one hit, making it easier in battle and quicker to kill them when needed. When enchanting Minecraft swords with the Curse of Vanishing enchantment, this will cause a cursed item to disappear after the player dies.
In other words, if a player dies with a piece of armor or weapon that is enchanted, that item will instantly disappear from the inventory. Much like the name says, this enchantment is more a curse than any help, but during battles or while playing on a multiplayer Minecraft server, this can be helpful. This enchantment only goes to level one, which may be a good thing.
In Minecraft, this enchantment is one of the most useful. When a sword has the Fire Aspect enchantment, whatever it hits will immediately be set on fire. This can be most helpful when killing animals for fuel, as it cooks the meat dropped, without the need for a stove and fuel to cook it. This Minecraft enchantment can also be useful in battle, as the sword will set mobs on fire, aiding players in escaping.
The Fire Aspect enchantment only goes to level two. One of the common things seen in Minecraft fights is that after being hit, players back up. The empty inner space should turn purple and start to make interesting sounds.
Enter the Nether. Stand in the portal and wait 4 seconds to be transported into the Nether. Make sure you have your flint and steel for relighting the portal in case it breaks from a ghast and plenty of food to keep yourself well-fed.
Find a Nether Fortress. They can be somewhat hard to find, so it could take a while. Kill Blazes and gather Nether Wart.
Blazes drop Blaze rods, which are needed for making potions and getting to the endgame. You will need a lot of Blaze rods. Nether Wart is a key ingredient in potions, and it only grows on Soul Sand, so collect some Soul Sand it's brown with a face-like pattern and try farming it in your base.
Nether Wart can be found naturally occurring in nether fortresses in two small patches alongside stairs going upwards. Craft a brewing stand. This will let you brew potions, which will help during the final boss fight. There are 4 main types you will want to know about. These types are housing, stables, bridge, and treasure.
Each have their own unique traits so it's important to be able to tell the difference. Right-click with an ender pearl selected to throw the ender pearl, and be teleported to its landing site. This can be quite useful in areas such as ravines, large caves, and the Nether.
Eye of Ender ingredient. You use ender pearls to craft ender eyes. Craft Eyes of Ender. These are crucial in helping you locate and unlock the endgame. You can craft an Eye of Ender by combining blaze powder and an ender pearl in the crafting grid. This is a shapeless recipe, and the ingredients can be placed anywhere in the crafting grid. Blaze powder is crafted by dropping a blaze rod anywhere in the crafting grid. Part 3. Throw an Eye of Ender.
It will fly up and move in the direction of the nearest stronghold, a very rare underground structure. Repeat the previous step until a stronghold is located. You will know you have found a stronghold when the Eye of Ender starts flying towards the ground. The Eyes have a 1 in 5 chance of being destroyed after each use so bring a lot of them.
Excavate the stronghold. You will probably have to dig a bit to find the stronghold. Secure the area. The stronghold will be full of mobs, so clear it out and light it up.
As usual, don't dig straight down, as the End Portal frame is suspended directly over a shallow lava pool! If you aren't above the frame itself, you could fall into a deep dark cave and take fall damage, along with a potential attack from various hostile monsters.
Part 4. Locate an End Portal. Each stronghold has exactly one End Portal. This is what you will use to get to The End.
Activate the Portal. You activate the portal by filling the "frame" with Eyes of Ender. To do this, equip the eye, then use an empty block on the frame. Repeat this until all twelve blocks contain eyes. Some might already have eyes. Place the eyes so that they face to inside the portal.
Jump into the Portal. This will take you to The End. You will not be harmed by the lava under the portal when you are jumping into an activated portal, but if it is not activated you will likely burn to death and lose all your equipment! Part 5. Get ready to fight the boss. The End boss is called the Ender Dragon. She yes, she was officially confirmed to be female flies around the End skies.
You must kill her to beat the game. Watch out for Endermen, they spawn heavily in this dimension. Saving, exiting, and reloading while in the End, if you have not yet killed the dragon, will cause a second dragon to spawn. Make sure you have enough time to finish the battle. Locate the dragon. She may take a moment to appear, so take this time to prepare, by sorting your inventory and such.
You may spawn underground. If this is the case, just dig your way out. Destroy the Ender Crystals. These crystals, located atop the obsidian towers in the End, heal the Ender Dragon.
You can destroy them with any attack, including a snowball. Using a close-range weapon is not recommended, since the crystals explode when hit. Some crystals are defended by iron bars. Kill the dragon. You can damage the dragon using a sword, bow and arrows, or explosive items. The dragon is immune to lava, fire, and splash potions, but potions that buff your stats are very useful. Since trying to sleep in the End or Nether results in an explosion, you can use beds to damage the ender dragon.
Just place it in front of you, stand back, and then try to sleep when the dragon comes close. In Computer Edition, the dragon is invulnerable to arrows while it is perched on top of the portal. Collect the loot. The Enderdragon drops up to 70 levels of XP, and opens the exit portal.
Beat the Game! Now you have "beaten Minecraft," you'll spawn in your world's normal spawn after the credits, with all of your gear and a large number of extra experience levels!
You can go back to the End whenever you want now, provided you can reach the portal. Several valuable things can be found there, such as the Endermen and their valuable Ender Pearls, and the Obsidian and End Stone blocks, which are some of the most blast-resistant blocks in the game that you can use.
